Make sure the valve is open and pump the torp back up. Once that’s done, you can pry off the white plastic tube/cap carefully, refill it with beer and replace the tube/cap. Voila!
How many pints are in a beer Torp?

Can you swap Torps?
Can I swap out a TORP before it is empty? Once a TORP has been opened, you need to keep it in THE SUB and keep THE SUB plugged in. This will keep the beer at the right pressure and freshness. You can take the TORP out before it is empty, but once removed it should not be consumed.
Can I still buy Hopsy Torps?
Answer: No one supplies the torps anymore. Amazing that during a pandemic when EVERYONE was staying home, the company that shipped the beer couldn’t figure out a way to stay in business when people were BUYING more alcohol than ever. Beer delivery through Hopsy is done.

Can you put Torps in the freezer?
Answer: It takes about an hour for the machine to cool down a fridge pre-coooled torp, (5deg down to 2deg). This can be annoying during a gathering, but I now get around this by further pre-cooling each torp in the freezer for between 30 and 60 mins, meaning it’s ready to go straight away.

Once in THE SUB®, cooling down a TORP® takes 10 to 16 hours (depending on starting temperature of the TORP®). When your beer is chilled to the right temperature, then the light on the front of THE SUB® will turn green. To speed up the process, ensure your TORP® is fully chilled before inserting it into the SUB®.

To fill or refill a keg yourself, you will need an appropriate level of CO2 so the beer will flow and maintain its carbonation. The tanks range from 2.5 to 20 pounds in size, but it only takes about ⅓ of a pound to dispense a 5-gallon keg. You can get empty CO2 tanks refilled, but be cautious.
