Winning a Cornhole Game
When a player or team has 21 or more points at the end of a frame, they win! That means if you hit 21 or more points during a frame, but your opponent lands or sinks a bag that reduces your total to less than 21, the game continues.
Can you go over 21 in official cornhole rules?
1 POINT for each bag that lands on top of the board. 3 POINTS for each bag that is tossed through or knocked into the hole. Tally points after all (8) bags have been thrown per inning by using the cancellation method. The game is over when a Player or Team reaches (or exceeds) 21 POINTS.
Is cornhole winning by 2?
The winning team does not need to win by 2 or more points. The Cornhole match can end in the middle of an inning. Thus, if a team that pitches first reaches or exceeds 21 points, the game would be completed completed.
