How do I cancel?
Hover over your profile avatar and click on Manage memberships.Click the Edit link.Then click the Edit or Cancel Payment button directly under the update button.Select the option to Edit or Cancel Payment.Click the Cancel your membership button.
Can I cancel patreon anytime?
You can cancel your membership at any point. If you have any declined or pending bills on your account, cancelling your recurring membership will not remove these bills. We recommend that you review your Billing History page before cancelling to see if we’ll process any payments for you upon cancelling.
Can you cancel Patreon one month?
We recommend canceling on the last day of a month to ensure you do not renew and pay on the first. You can cancel your upfront membership at any time. Your cancelation stops the auto-renewal of your membership, meaning you won’t see future charges.
Does Patreon charge for Cancelling?
If you cancel and rejoin within the 1st month of your year, you won’t pay any additional membership fee. If you cancel and then upgrade your tier, we’ll credit the amount you already paid the creator at checkout, and you’ll pay the remaining cost.
What happens if you dont pay Patreon?
If they decline once, we will not continue to charge them for future months. Instead, they will be restricted from viewing patron-only content until they pay for their past-due bill. They are essentially not a patron for future months until they’ve successfully paid the past due bill.
Does Patreon charge right away?
Only patrons of creators charging their patrons upfront, will have immediate charges. If you’re unsure if your creator charges upfront, you can review your Billing History page – if you have a charge date that matches the “Supported Period” it indicates that your creator bills patrons upfront.
Can creators see your email on Patreon?
What account details do my creators have access to? When you are a patron of a creator, we provide the following information to them: Your username (also displayed for anyone who lands on your profile) Email address.
Can you pay anonymously on Patreon?
Are Patreon Payments Anonymous? In order to receive a payment from Patreon, you must provide your name, address, and tax information, as well as bank or PayPal information. So no, you cannot be anonymous.
Can you be a Patreon for one month?
At the moment, Patreon only offers recurring memberships, and one-time donations are not available. All Patreon memberships recur on a monthly or annual (if your creator has this available) billing cadence. Why does Patreon charge on the first?
When you enable charge upfront, we charge patrons as soon as they sign up. Their first payment grants them access to your backlog of creations and their membership. We then process patrons’ payments on the 1st of every month after that. Each 1st of the month charge gives them membership access for that month.
How does Patreon show up on Bill?
There’s no upfront payment to unlock per patron-only access. Instead, you’re billed your pledged amount for paid posts the creator makes once you join until you cancel. These bills are posted to your Billing history.
