Purple offers customers a 100-night sleep trial. They require customers to break in the mattress for at least 21 nights prior to initiating a return, however. After the break-in period, customers may return the mattress for a full refund, at no cost. Customers may call Purple to initiate the return process.
What happens if you want to return Purple mattress?
You will be refunded the full product price of the mattress less the value of any discount, interest accrued, and/or shipping charges. For questions about products purchased at a retail location, please contact the store directly. You have 100 calendar days to exchange your Purple® Bed from the date of delivery.
Is Purple mattress return free?
All Purple® Mattress purchases come with a 100-night trial! If you decide that the Purple® Mattress isn’t a perfect fit for you, we’ll have it picked up and issue you a 100% refund. That’s right, no pickup or restocking fees!
Does Purple have a restocking fee?
Sales on special-order items that we don’t normally stock are considered final but can sometimes be exchanged with a 20% restocking fee.
Does Purple accept returns?
Purple does not require a specific reason for return–you can return your mattress for any reason. If you purchased your Purple mattress at a discount, your refund will be for the amount you paid, not the mattress’s original price. For donation or disposal pickup, you don’t need to re-box or repackage your mattress.

How do Purple returns work?
Keep your donation or disposal receipt and send a scan of it to your Purple Customer Care rep. They’ll process your return and initiate your refund. You’ll see a full refund back to your original form of payment within 15 business days.
Can you return a mattress if you don’t like it?
Most mattress-in-a-box companies have offered free, simple returns during a long “try it out” period. If you don’t like the bed, you can return it and get your money back.
What happens to the mattresses that are returned?
Your returned mattress will still find a good home with someone who needs and wants it. In most cases, when state law allows it, returned mattresses are donated to charities like the Salvation Army, women resource centers, or homeless shelters.
How much does it cost to return a mattress?
An $80-$100 delivery fee will be charged, and you won’t get back the full price of the mattress. You’ll lose 10% due to a restocking fee. The remaining amount will be used to exchange for a new mattress. If you choose to return your mattress, you’ll also pay $80-$100 for delivery.
