Is ready to use grout good?
A premixed grout is the best grout for tile if you are looking for color consistency and a quicker installation. Premixed grout saves time because you can open a bucket and start grouting immediately.
How long does TEC grout take to dry?
Allow the grout to dry 30 to 60 minutes and remove all remaining grout residue from the tiles with a damp sponge or terrycloth towel. Protect the finished installation from foot traffic or impact for at least 4 hours. Wait 24 hours before mopping, routine cleaning or shower use.
Does premixed grout expire?
Both powder and pre-mixed forms of grout expire 6 months after opening. Before you go to use old grout, think back to when you purchased and used it. If the grout is more than 12 months old, or it has been more than 6 months since you opened it, toss your old grout and buy new.
Can I use premixed grout in shower?
This pre-mixed grout is designed for interior use only, but is suitable for wet areas like tub surrounds, shower floors and shower walls. And, because it’s so easy to use, it’s also great for grout restoration projects!
Is premixed grout more expensive?
For large jobs, pre-mixed grout can be more expensive than purchasing dry grout in bulk and mixing it yourself. Also, dry grout can be stored for long periods of time, so it may be used for several jobs over time.
Is premixed grout Unsanded?

Do I want sanded or unsanded grout?
Sanded grout is best for grout lines ranging from 1/8-inch to 1/2-inch. Grout lines wider than 1/2-inch are impractical and will crack and become unstable. Because unsanded grout can also be used for 1/8-inch lines, between the two it is recommended that you use sanded grout.

What happens if you use out of date grout?
When good grout is installed well, it locks tiles in place and provides a finished look for many years. Grout that is too old or that is installed incorrectly, however, deteriorates quickly and may never lock tiles in place as intended.
Can you reuse dried grout?
No. Grout is basically a form of concrete. If this technology existed then when the government needed to redo roads they would just add this magical potion and road would be redone.
