Alpha Epsilon Phi (ΑΕΦ or AEPhi) is a sorority and one of the members of the National Panhellenic Conference, an umbrella organization overseeing 26 North American sororities.
Why was AEPhi created?
Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority was founded on October 24, 1909 by seven Jewish women at Barnard College in New York City. Their goal was to foster lifelong friendship and sisterhood, academics, social involvement and community service while providing a home away from home for their members.
What is AEPhi philanthropy?
From the very beginning, Alpha Epsilon Phi has been committed to philanthropic service. In the early years, AEPhi focused on providing aid to Jewish war sufferers, scholarships for those in need and support of educational endeavors.
What programs does AEPhi support?
Through their generosity the Fund supports: The Katz Leadership Symposium held during the sorority’s annual summer program. Scholarships to the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute (UIFI) and similar educational programs. Collegiate participation in the NPC/NIC efforts in Congress.
